Dear Sir or madam, I would like to ask you more information regarding the 1 month notice that I need to give before ending my contract. I have a 1 year contract and I work in a company for 4 months. In my contract is written that I need to give 1 month before the end of the month with a written statement. I would like to ask if I inform the company in 15th of July that I want to terminate the contract does this mean that my last day at work will be in 15th of August? Thank you. Kind regards,
I am not aware of the exact wording of your contract, and this is crucial with respect to your question, but most likely the last day of your contract will be August 31th (provided that you give notice in July). On September 1th your contract would be ended. Of course you can make a written agreement with the company that your contract will end at July 15th though.
